MOAP

A playful journey to discover Swiss Heritage

MOAP owes its birth to a passionate collector of antique tools and objects. Jean-Pierre Joho has given a large part of his collection to the Société du Village de Pinsec for the museum which will open in 2020.

In a 3-storey Raccard located in the small village of Pinsec, 17 trades and 500 antique tools and objects are on display. You will discover there the trades of wood, iron, earth, mouth and homework. Tools are also made available to visitors to test them in a real way. The peasant life of yesteryear is retraced through a playful journey in which the heritage, authenticity and tradition of the trades of the mountain valleys, and especially of the Valais, are highlighted.
